ARCHITECTURAL AND SPATIAL FEATURES OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF SUBURBAN SETTLEMENTS IN VINNITSIA UNITED TERRITORIAL COMMUNITY

The article explores the architectural and spatial features of the development of suburban settlements within the Vinnytsia United Territorial Community (UTC). Based on a comprehensive urban planning analysis, the authors identified several key challenges: lack of structured public centers, chaotic residential development, insufficient engineering and transport infrastructure, and a shortage of social and cultural facilities. Particular attention is given to eight settlements—Desna, Velyki and Mali Krushlyntsi, Vinnytski Khutory, Havryshivka, Pysarivka, Stadnytsia, and Shchytky—each analyzed in terms of planning structure, socio-economic potential, and existing problems.
The article offers strategic development directions, including the formation of active community centers, improvement of spatial zoning, enhancement of transport mobility, modernization of engineering infrastructure, and preservation of ecological and cultural assets. The authors emphasize the importance of community engagement in spatial development processes. An integrated approach that combines social, architectural, ecological, and technical dimensions is proposed to ensure the creation of a harmonious, comfortable, and competitive living environment in the suburban areas of Vinnytsia UTC. The research may serve as a practical reference for professionals in spatial planning and local governance working on sustainable development issues.
