Abstract

In order to save energy in construction, the directions of increasing energy efficiency of ventilation equipment are considered. The factors influencing the efficiency of ventilation systems, their technical and economic characteristics are indicated. One of the ways is to improve the work of the fans. The proposed method of aerodynamic improvement of the ventilation system by installing a diffuser in it with a leveling plate placed directly behind the radial fan is analyzed. This new constructive solution aims to improve the efficiency of the ventilation systems by aligning the flow of the radial fan. The results of investigations of the efficiency of the equalization of the injection flow for different and variable operating modes of the radial fan are given. The absence of a mathematical description of the analyzed processes and the necessity of disseminating the results of experimental studies on similar objects is noted. Taking into account all the determining parameters of influence on aerodynamic processes, a mathematical description of the analyzed processes was carried out. A criterion equation of similarity for a process of equalization of a flow of flux in a diffusor located on a radial fan is obtained by the method of analysis of dimensions. This equation can be extended to similar unexplored objects.
