The article develops modern principles for the restoration of Ukrainian roads, taking into account multifactorial influences: war damage, climate change, increasing traffic load, and resource constraints. An approach combining adaptability, prioritization, resource efficiency, and integration of innovative technologies is proposed. The need to transition from local repair measures to systemic management of the life cycle of road infrastructure is substantiated. The current state of Ukraine’s roads is characterized by a significant level of damage caused by both long-term operation and intensive destruction as a result of military operations. Violations of the integrity of the road surface, deformation of the subgrade, destruction of artificial structures significantly reduce the transport and operational performance of roads and limit the efficiency of the state’s transport system. In these conditions, the formation of rational technological solutions for the restoration of highways, which should ensure not only the prompt restoration of road capacity, but also the durability, reliability and adaptability of road structures to modern loads and environmental influences, is of particular importance. It is also important to take into account the limited resources, the need to reduce the time for work and increase the efficiency of the use of material and technical means. The insufficient development of a comprehensive approach to substantiating technological solutions for road rehabilitation, taking into account the specifics of damage, operating conditions, and modern technologies, determines the relevance of this study. Road rehabilitation is one of the key tasks of ensuring the stable functioning of the transport infrastructure of Ukraine. In modern conditions, there is a growing need to implement effective technological solutions capable of ensuring rapid and high-quality rehabilitation of road structures, taking into account their technical condition and the nature of damage. The problem lies in the lack of a holistic concept that would integrate technical, economic, environmental and social aspects of rehabilitation.
