ANALYSIS OF DESIGN CHARACTERISTICS ON HIGHWAYS

The article analyzes the design characteristics. The design characteristics of highways include such characteristics as intensity, speed of movement and load on highways. In the current situation, the load on the roads is of great importance. Due to the high load on the roads, the road surface cannot withstand such a load and quickly collapses. Therefore, this issue is very relevant at the moment.
The conducted studies of the load on highways allowed the author to assume that the dynamics of the calculated characteristics can be used to judge the patterns of the evolution of highways. An important task of highway design is long-term forecasting of design characteristics of traffic flows. One of the problems is the problem of forecasting the load on highways. The forecast of load capacity, loads on the rear axle of vehicles and design loads on highways is considered
Data on production trucks were used to analyze the dynamics of load capacity, structural axle loads, and gross vehicle weight. Time series of load capacities, structural axle loads and gross vehicle weights of trucks were constructed based on mathematical expectations of the analyzed characteristics in time sections at time intervals.
Each car brand, using numerical values of axle loads, load capacity, and gross weight, was represented by horizontal segments running along the time scale at the level of the corresponding characteristic.
Thus, each time slice was represented by a wide range of rear axle loads from the lowest to the maximum permissible. The load forecasting model is adequate to the observed data regarding the design dynamics.
An analysis of the operating environment was carried out to determine and develop a method for predicting the design characteristics of traffic flow on highways, namely the load, and identifying the negative impact on the highway
It was found that solving this problem is possible by analyzing the evolution of the load on the road in the "person-car-transport environment system.
