Abstract

The design and technological methods, allowing to increase the bearing capacity of pile foundations of prismatic piles. Based on laboratory studies determined the physical and mechanical characteristics of soils used for model testing. In the manufacture of models takes into account the scale factor based on the theory of modeling. In the process of modeling studies take into account the transition from model to nature on the values of the force action. Primers used for modeling studies: - loess loam, medium, tugoplastichny, silty sand of medium density and dense (ρd = 1,65 g/cm3 and 1,79 g/cm3, respectively). Model piles are made in scale 1:20 to full-scale piles of circular cross-section: Ø 500 mm, square 400×400 mm, a length of 3,5 m. One model circular piles performed with a helical winding with a step 0,6 Ø. We found changes of parameters of force influence on the model, depending on the shape of the cross-section and forms the lower end. Tests were performed on a specially prepared stand.
