The article is devoted to the study of the role of insolation in the spheres of human life and construction. The article
discusses the issue of sunlight in buildings and its impact on the comfort of building occupants. Issues related to the lack or
inaccuracy of solar radiation in the urban environment are considered.
Various problems caused by suboptimal solar radiation, such as insufficient daylight and the impact on the
psychophysiological state of people, as well as the importance of insolation in the urban environment, are analyzed.
