Abstract

Technological and structural features of the transfer of gas-oil power steam boilers with steam capacity of 35 tons / h and 75 tons / hour for burning solid fuel are analyzed.

A mathematical model has been developed to perform the thermal calculation of a steam boiler for the combustion of solid fuel. Comparison of the calculated results and actual performance of the boiler is done.

The efficiency of the boiler operation on different fuels, namely natural gas, coal, biomass, was evaluated. On the basis of thermal calculation, basic indicators of boiler operation and economic efficiency of using different fuels at the thermal power plant were revealed.
