In the article, the method of finite element method is used to analyze the ways of modeling underground structures using the STARKON and Ing + software systems. Specified methods for determining the stiffness coefficients of soil bases by different methods. It is noted that seismic forces are the forces of inertia and the main component of this force are amplitudes and seismic acceleration. They change on the surface of the earth depending on the soil conditions. It is indicated that determining the numerical values of the amplitudes and accelerations for different soils is of great interest for creating seismic resistant structures of various kinds. In the work, in order to determine the numerical values of displacements, internal forces and stresses in the sections of the elements of the calculated structure, the certified universal STARKON and Ing + software packages are used and the coincidence of the results of both software systems is noted.
