The paper presents the research results of carbon emissions at pipelines renovation trench and trenchless method, a method of horizontal directional drilling conditions in the city. Research aimed at the construction industry to implement more environmental methods replacing pipelines in the future will help to improve the environment of cities. The study simulated the situation in the replacement water. Vinnytsya two methods - trench and trenchless. It analyzes the CO2 emissions from working machinery and violation of traffic. The study was conducted in order to improve environmental safety in repairs in cities within the concept of sustainable development.
