Abstract

We consider the numerical modulation by finite element method of operation of piles and grillage
consisting of columnar pile foundation. The dependence of particle load, perceived grillages on soil
characteristics: specific grip angle of internal friction, modulus of deformation. Also, the effect of the
share of grillage calculated soil resistance on the lateral surface of the pile and maximum resistance to
bases, which collectively account for strength characteristics of the soil. Share grillage determined at
various stages of loading: when reaching strain of 4 cm and 10 cm separately examined the dependence
of particle load, perceived grillages in clayey and sandy.
